2- Off--White c/o Louvre

“I have been fascinated by Leonardo da Vinci for a very long time; this passion was born when I studied art during my last year at the University of Wisconsin. I admired not only his artistic work but also the influence he had on other disciplines: science, engineering, architecture ... I believe he embodies the spirit of the Renaissance. " Virgil Abloh, founder and artistic director of Off-White.

On December 13, the Louvre Museum and Off-White formalized a collaboration on the occasion of the Leonard de Vinci exhibition, which runs until February 24, 2020 at the Louvre.

“I want to create a fertile collision between these two worlds that seem so different: fashion and the fine arts. At the heart of my work, there has always been this desire to prove that any place, however difficult to access, can ultimately be within everyone's reach. That everyone can seek to express themselves through more than a single practice and that creativity is not necessarily limited to a single discipline. I think Leonardo da Vinci was the first artist to embody this approach, and I try to live on the same principle. " Virgil Abloh, founder and artistic director of Off-White.

The collection is available in the Louvre boutique, on the museum's online store, and on Off-White.com
